I am running Start8 1.1; in the 'Search programs and files' input field, when I type "to" (minus the quotation marks) the program µTorrent shows under the Programs heading (of the search results), and when I type "ut" (minus the quotation marks) the program µTorrent shows under 'Files and folders' heading (of the search results). And of course the more I fully type out "utorrent" (no quotes) the less search results are returned and µTorrent is thus placed higher up in the list.

The name of the µtorrent in program file is ( utorrent ) The utorrent shortcut name in the start menu is (µtorrent). "Please note the difference" You can go to control panel Indexing Options chose modify and add the Program Files folder and press OK It will take some time to build the index After that you can type utorrent in the start menu search box . Use up and down arrow keys and the utorrent will be shown in the search result.

If you want to narrow your search why not just write the name you search for with the extension in case of utorrent why not just write : utorrent.exe in the search box .... In this case it will show only utorrent.exe. 2ff7e9595c
